Out of control - point of no return - prototypically blind - gods into our minds

Singularity, primordial foundation of the evolution of elements and beings
Life and death govern the universe’s harmony, the basic principals orchestrated carefully

Yet, there’s us altering the natural order of life
Dictating who is worth of living and die
A power not granted, nor earned or mastered to enforce
Humankind disavowed and broke primordial nature’s laws

Self-induced fear emerging from the inevitable death
Trying to escape the way of all flesh
Relenting our will to find fake salvation
Contradicting the laws of creation

This is getting out of control
Reaching the point of no return

Tell me, oh dear Mother, why did others astray from you?
Believing in heavens forsaking our roots
With no more than our own ego to look up to

Living “purposely” reducing free will to blind reverence
Abjuring their reason without any trace of regret
Buying the senseless story of the original sin
The apex of all lies glorified as god’s will

Slowly astray becoming prototypically blind
Distorting reality into a moral scheme within your mind
Nailed by fear of religious establishment
That imposes man-made gods into our minds

No respect and desecration of its own origin
Power and control over others in the name of the machine, their agenda disguised as good will
Insatiable thirst for restraining more and more, a hand suffocating you to oblivion
Total domination to elimination as never seen before

It is hard to know if any good will come from this
By aiming to heaven–the bottomless abyss
We’re paving bigotry for generations to come
With no regret until all trace of life is gone
Until the last breath of life is gone

Slowly astray becoming prototypically blind

Nailed by fear of a religious establishment

Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito
